Greenwood professionals "scrub up" for the first meeting of Self Regional Healthcare Foundation's newly developed Young SCRUBS (Supportive Community Representatives United (for a) Better Self) group. The purpose of this group, comprised of 24 professionals from the Greenwood community, is to develop a "Next Generation" leadership forum that will engage members in the community and develop their understanding of Self Regional Healthcare. Members will be ambassadors of Self Regional Healthcare and will aid in cultivating donor relationships through community outreach and volunteer opportunities. This organization, sponsored by Self Regional Healthcare Foundation, will be exposed to numerous networking opportunities and educational sessions about Self Regional Healthcare facilities and services, including tours, behind-the-scenes "happenings" (virtual surgeries, ER visits, etc.), and various social gatherings throughout the year.
